The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister will now have to appear before the trial court in Bangalore on November 22 according to her counsel B Kumar. A change in date was sought by her counsel at the Special court that was set up at Gandhi Bhavan in Parappana Agrahara in Bangalore.
Jayalalithaa was scheduled to appear before the trial court today after the Supreme Court denied permission to abstain from appearing in person.
Following this her advocate Kumar filed a petition before the special court judge B M Mallikarjunaiah seeking to postpone the date for her questioning citing the flood situation in the state and the district collectors meeting.
